IDTA Examinations: (International Dance Teachers Association). Examinations are available in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Musical Theatre, Freestyle Disco, Street Dance & Rock 'n' Roll. The IDTA is a modern, progressive and forward thinking association. The IDTA is a Corporate Member of the British Dance Council. Members of the Council for Dance Education & Training (UK), Central Council of Physical Recreation & The Stage Dance Council International. Examinations are not compulsory, but we find the majority of students wish to take part. We hold two to three examination sessions a year and teach all amateur levels from Preparatory grade to Grade 6, and Major grades Intermediate, Advanced 1 & 2, (Known as Performers Examinations. Professional Performers). Teachers at masque also undergo a challenging examination system. All teachers start with Pre Associate 1 & 2 (or Student level for Freestyle & Street)' which enables them to teach from preparatory to grade 6 & medals. They then go onto further Professional levels, these progress from Associate to Licentiate and finally Fellowship which is the penultimate qualification. LAMDA Examinations: (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) are available in Acting (Solo, Duologue or Combined), Verse & Prose, Public Speaking, Improvisation & Mime. LAMDA is a member of the Conservatoire for Dance & Drama, Conference Of Drama Schools & is QCA Accredited (Qualification & Curriculum Authority).
