MASQUE PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE
unleash your talent
ABOUT
Masque Theatre School was opened in 1996 by Kerree & Dean Bray, at The Broadstairs Youth & Leisure Centre. It took off very quickly through recommendation and reputation. Since then they have expanded the timetable to accommodate increasing demand, introducing more subjects & developing new ideas that give pupils a more comprehensive range of training.
Over the years, Masque has become a very highly regarded Performing Arts School in Thanet. During this time they have been involved in many facets of dance and theatre and have continued to train and gain further experience and qualifications within their individual genres. In 2001 it soon became apparent that due to increasing demand for their classes, they would have to find a new home and started the search for their own premises. In 2009, after a long summer renovating top floor of The Former United Reform Church, Masque moved into their new home, which is located in Ramsgate and is equipped with 4 fully fitted dance studios.
The studios currently run 50 plus classes per week for children aged 2 1/2 upwards and is a second home to many of its pupils. We are always ready to welcome any newcomer to the Masque family.

We are excited to announce the opening of Masque Performers College in September 2023, offering prevocational professional training for 16-18 years along side a BTEC level 3 extended dipolma.
