Time to check MPC out!

I'm so excited to be hosting our first open day on Friday 5th March at 6pm! Myself and Steve from LEAD Academy will be there to give you all the info about Masque Performers College and the BTEC level 3 in dance and performing arts.

Why am I so excited? After 25 years of running my evening school with some really great success stories, I've been eager to offer something that ran in the day. We have this great studio space plus talented, enthusiastic, creative staff that with our years of experience this just seemed the next logical step.

I wanted to do this in a way that kept it accessible to kids who are eager to take that next step which is why we are designing the course to be very practical in it's approach, allowing students to pursue their goals in becoming a full time performer. The BTEC gives us plenty of scope to do this with the added bonus of giving them a recognised qualification should they need something to fall back on later. It also means the course is fully funded, which after having been through such a difficult time in living memory (thanks covid!), it keeps that accessibility that I spoke of earlier.

I'm looking forward to meeting those of you who want to know more about MPC and how we will give young performers the tools they need to take the next step. We will let you know how the course with be structured both practically and educationally, and be happy to answer any questions prospective students and parents might have.

Really hope to see you there!
